  • Abstract
    One-dimensional Maxwellʹs equations are considered in a ferromagnetic body surrounded by vacuum. Existence and uniqueness of solution for the resulting system of partial differential equations with hysteresis on the whole real line is proved under suitable constitutive hypotheses.
