Abstract
Differential pulse polarography (DPP) was used for non-destructive monitoring of chlorothiazide (CHT) released from dehydration-rehydration liposomal vesicles (DRV) prepared from egg phosphadicholine (PC), dipalmitoylphosphatidylcholine (DPPC) and distearoylphosphatidylcholine (DSPC) and negatively-charged liposomes with the addition of phosphatidic acid (PA) to PC, DSPC and DPPC lipids. The release was found to be dependent on lipid composition and increased, as percentage of the initially loaded drug, in the following order: DSPC
