Cues from Conversations: An Overview of Research in Childrens Response to Literature

A descriptive discussion of fifteen research studies in childrenʹs response to literature is introduced as insightful information to assist librarians involved in readersʹ advisory work and reading guidance with children and young adults. Implications of the findings for practice suggest ways that librarians can enhance services in this area.
