Abstract :
Spectroscopic and photochemical properties of allyloxyfluorescein and allyloxyeosin have been studied and the fluorescence quantum yield and photodegradation quantum efficiency calculated. Whilst the photostability is the same for the two compounds, allyloxyfluorescein has the better fluorescence quantum yield.
