Abstract :
Cerebrovascular disease and Alzheimerʹs disease commonly occur together in the elderly and each may contribute to dementia. Here we present evidence that Cerebrovascular disease significantly worsens cognitive performance in the earliest stages of Alzheimerʹs disease.
