Electrode coatings from sprayed titanium dioxide nanoparticles ¯ behaviour in NaOH solutions

Titanium dioxide coatings on titanium metal are produced by spraying a suspension of TiO2 nanoparticles onto a Ti wire followed by heat treatments in air and in vacuum. It is shown that these coatings have a uniform, porous structure with a high surface area. They may be used as electrodes and their behaviour in sodium hydroxide solutions is reported.
