Evidence for novel non-angiogenic pathway in breast-cancer metastasis Original Research Article

We have reported that angiogenic primary breast carcinoma can relapse not only as angiogenic, but also as non-angiogenic, lung metastases. This non-angiogenic pathway seems to be a novel pathway of cancer progression, and such tumours are likely to be resistant to antiangiogenic treatment.
