Abstract :
Stoichiometric silver lead apatite compounds have been obtained by hydrothermal reaction of lead orthophosphate Pb3(PO4)2 and silver orthophosphate Ag3PO4 at 215°C and 100 atm. They were characterized using a variety of analytical techniques (chemical analysis, X-ray diffraction, infrared absorption spectroscopy and Raman scattering spectroscopy).
