Purpoe: To report a patient who wa initially examined with optic tract yndrome caued by a focal metatai to the lateral geniculate body and optic tract. Method: Cae report. Reult: A 44-year-old woman with metatatic breat cancer wa initially examined with normal central viual acuity, afferent pupillary defect, homonymou hemianopia, and optic atrophy. Concluion: Thi cae demontrate that an iolated optic tract yndrome may occur a a reult of metatatic leion to the lateral geniculate body and optic tract.
