Purpoe: To decribe the magnetic reonance imaging feature of bilateral internal Ophthalmoplegia a an oculomotor facicular yndrome. Method: A 55-year-old man wa initially examined with bilateral photophobia. Neuro-ophthalmologic examination dicloed preganglionic bilateral internal ophthalmoplegia. Magnetic reonance imaging of the braintem wa performed. Reult: Magnetic reonance imaging dicloed high-intenity area on T2-weighted image along medial portion of the bilateral oculomotor facicle in the meencephalon. Concluion: Thee finding ugget that meencephalic leion may electively caue bilateral internal ophthalmoplegia a a partial oculomotor facicular yndrome.
