Purpoe To decribe an efficient technique for uturing a Lander wide-field temporary kerato prothei for intraocular urgery in an eye with an opaque cornea. Method Two uture were preplaced at partial thickne into corneal troma parallel to the corneocleral limbu. uture end were placed through correponding hole in the keratoprothei and tied. Reult The temporary keratoprothei wa held firmly in place with two uture and provided clear viualization for extenive intraocular urgery. Concluion The preplaced two-uture technique for ecuring a temporary keratoprothei to the globe decreaed the time that the globe wa open.
