Purpoe To decribe a cae of late potoperative endophthalmiti in a patient who had undergone anterior chamber intraocular len implantation 6 year previouly. Method Onet, coure, and outcome of the patientʹ eye dieae are preented. Reult The patient wa initially examined with eroion of the eyewall, extruion of the len haptic, and endophthalmiti. Intraocular culture dicloed the pathogenic organim to be Haemophilu influenzae. Concluion Anterior chamber intraocular len haptic extruion can have grave conequence, including endophthalmiti and evere viual lo.
