Bilateral trochlear nerve paly with arachnoid cyt of the quadrigeminal citern

Purpoe To report bilateral trochlear nerve paly and it magnetic reonance imaging characteritic in a patient with an arachnoid cyt of the quadrigeminal citern. Method We performed magnetic reonance imaging of the braintem of a 54-year-old man who had bilateral trochlear nerve paly and mild truncal ataxia. Reult Magnetic reonance imaging dicloed an arachnoid cyt of the quadrigeminal citern with enlargement of the lateral, third, and fourth ventricle. The tectum of the midbrain and the ambient and interpeduncular citern were markedly compreed by the arachnoid cyt. Concluion Thee finding ugget that the bilateral trochlear nerve paly in thi patient wa caued by the arachnoid cyt of the quadrigeminal citern.
