Abstract
Purpoe: To report a minimally ymptomatic patient with bilateral carcinoid tumor metatatic to the choroid who wa followed up for 42 month without any treatment.
Method: Cae report.
Reult: A 54-year-old white man with a hitory of bronchial carcinoid tumor had bilateral multiple carcinoid tumor metatatic to the choroid. Follow-up for 42 month without treatment demontrated no growth of the choroidal tumor, and corrected viual acuity remained RE, 20/20 and LE, 20/25. ytemic tatu alo remained table.
Concluion: Carcinoid tumor metatatic to the choroid may remain tationary for an extended period. Treatment may be deferred until tumor growth, exudative retinal detachment, or ubtantial impairment of viion develop.
