Pottreptococcal uveiti

PURPOE: To report that uveiti may be a manifetation of pottreptococcal yndrome. METHOD: Cae report. Documented attack of bilateral uveiti were clearly aociated with treptococcal infection. REULT: Group A treptococcal infection wa evident in all bilateral uveiti attack, which were treated with local or ytemic corticoteroid and penicillin. The frequency and everity of the attack were reduced by penicillin prophylaxi and tonillectomy. CONCLUION: Uveiti hould be included a a poible manifetation of pottreptococcal yndrome. If coexiting treptococcal infection i demontrated, penicillin prophylaxi hould be conidered.
