Abstract :
PURPOE: To report a patient with peritent ubepithelial corneal opacitie 18 month after adenoviral keratoconjunctiviti who underwent photorefractive keratectomy for the correction of myopia.
METHOD: Cae report, review of medical literature, and lit-lamp photography.
REULT: The patient underwent photorefractive keratectomy in each eye, 1 week apart, with ablation of central corneal opacitie and reultant bet-corrected viual acuity of BE, 20/20. ymptomatic ubepithelial tromal infiltrate recurred in the peripheral but not the central cornea of each eye 3 month after laer treatment.
CONCLUION: Photorefractive keratectomy wa ucceful in the correction of myopia and prevented the recurrence of adenoviral ubepithelial corneal infiltrate within the laer-treated central cornea.
