Infectiou crytalline keratopathy and endophthalmiti econdary to mycobacterium abceu in a monocular patient with teven-Johnon yndrome

PURPOE: To decribe the clinical and laboratory feature of infectiou crytalline keratopathy and endophthalmiti econdary to Mycobacterium abceu in a patient with teven-Johnon yndrome. METHOD: Cae report. A 19-year-old man with a hitory of teven-Johnon yndrome and multiple corneal tranplant developed white crytalline corneal infiltrate. REULT: Anterior chamber apirate dicloed acid-fat bacilli. A repeat corneal tranplant wa performed and antibiotic therapy begun. Hitopathology howed focal acute inflammation urrounding collection of acid-fat bacilli, which were peciated a M. abceu. CONCLUION: M. abceu i a caue of infectiou crytalline keratopathy and endophthalmiti. Rik factor include ocular urface dieae, corneal tranplantation, and immunouppreive therapy.
