Giant cell reparative granuloma of the orbit

Purpoe: To report a cae of giant cell reparative granuloma occurring in the orbit and to dicu it clinical, radiologic, and hitopathologic characteritic in contrat with other imilar leion. Method: A 38-year-old man developed pain and mild proptoi of the left eye. Computed tomography and magnetic reonance imaging demontrated an intraoeou cytic orbital ma. Exciional biopy dicloed giant cell reparative granuloma of the orbit. Reult: At 11 month’ follow-up, the patient had normal viion, with no tumor recurrence. Concluion: Giant cell reparative granuloma of the orbit i a rare benign fibro-oeou proliferation that i generally een in young adulthood. It hould be conidered in the differential diagnoi of orbital fibro-oeou proliferation. urgical exciion and curettage i the therapeutic method of choice.
