Intertitial nephriti and uveiti yndrome preenting with bilateral optic dik edema

PURPOE: To report a rare preentation of the tubulointertitial nephriti and uveiti yndrome. METHOD: Cae report. A 34-year-old woman underwent extenive clinical and laboratory evaluation of bilateral intermediate uveiti and optic nerve edema. REULT: Laboratory evaluation and nephrology conultation led to a diagnoi of tubulointertitial nephriti. The condition reolved with the ue of topical and ytemic corticoteroid and the dicontinuation of ibuprofen. CONCLUION: Tubulointertitial nephriti and uveiti yndrome i uncommon. It may preent with anterior or intermediate uveiti. Chronic intermediate uveiti can caue optic nerve and macular edema. A thorough medical evaluation of any patient preenting with uveiti and ytemic dieae i eential to the diagnoi and management of uveiti.
