Recontruction of the irradiated contracted ocket with an expanded uperficial temporali facial flap

PURPOE: To decribe the recontruction of an irradiated contracted ocket with an expanded uperficial temporali facial flap and oral mucoa. METHOD: A uperficial temporali facial flap wa firt expanded with tiue expanion technique and then rotated into the orbit to revacularize the ocket. The mucoal urface of the ocket wa econdarily grafted with buccal and hard palate mucoa. REULT: The expanded uperficial temporali facial flap wa ued to revacularize the ocket for grafting with hard palate and buccal mucoa. Thi reulted in the ucceful retention of an ocular prothei. CONCLUION: The expanded uperficial temporali facial flap i a ueful technique in recontruction of the contracted ocket.
