Clinical finding in a patient with pontaneou arteriovenou fitula of the orbit

PURPOE: To report clinical and radiologic finding of a patient with pontaneou arteriovenou fitula of the orbit. METHOD: Cae report. REULT: A 73-year-old woman wa initially examined with a 1-year hitory of mild proptoi of the right eye. he had no hitory of trauma. Neuro-ophthalmologic examination dicloed dilatation of conjunctival veel, increaed intraocular preure, mild proptoi and bruit in the right eye, and ocular ign uggetive of carotid-cavernou inu fitula or orbital arteriovenou malformation. The patient exhibited dilation of the uperior ophthalmic vein in enhanced computed tomography of the orbit. elective cerebral angiography dicloed communication between branche of both ophthalmic and facial arterie and the uperior ophthalmic vein in the orbit. CONCLUION: Arteriovenou fitula of the orbit mut be conidered in the differential diagnoi of carotid-cavernou inu fitula and arteriovenou malformation, although they are quite rare.
