Noninfectiou crytalline keratopathy after potoperative ubconjunctival 5-fluorouracil

PURPOE: To decribe a cae of tranient, noninfectiou crytalline keratopathy after potoperative ubconjunctival 5-fluorouracil. METHOD: Cae report. lit-lamp biomicrocopic examination were performed during erial office examination. REULT: A 69-year-old woman underwent an uncomplicated trabeculectomy with adjunctive ponge 5-fluorouracil application for 5 minute in her left eye. Potoperative treatment included topical predniolone acetate, ciprofloxacin, and copolamine. he wa initially examined with intratromal corneal crytalline depoit 5 day after her firt potoperative ubconjunctival injection of 5-fluorouracil. The depoit completely diappeared 4 day later without addition to or change in treatment. CONCLUION: Tranient, noninfectiou, crytalline, intratromal corneal depoit may develop after adjunctive ubconjunctival 5-fluorouracil adminitration.
