Technique for harveting keratolimbal allograft from corneocleral button

PURPOE: To report a method for obtaining thin keratolimbal lenticule from cadaveric corneocleral button for corneal epithelial tem cell allograft. METHOD: A tandard ilicone orbital izing phere and three 25-gauge needle were employed to fix the corneocleral button to facilitate exciion of keratolimbal lenticule. REULT: Limbal tem cell in the form of keratolimbal lenticule were obtained without difficulty. CONCLUION: With thi technique, thin keratolimbal lenticule of good quality can be obtained efficiently, inexpenively, and without pecialized intrument.
