Abstract
PURPOE: To decribe exacerbation during pregnancy of cerebellar hemangioblatoma in von Hippel-Lindau yndrome.
METHOD: Cae-report. A 21-year-old woman with von Hippel-Lindau yndrome wa found on routine ocular examination to have evere papilledema 1 week after giving birth.
REULT: Immediate magnetic reonance imaging dicloed a large cerebellar cyt from hemangioblatoma cauing cerebellar tonillar herniation. Immediate neurourgical intervention wa life aving.
CONCLUION: Worening of intracranial hemangioblatoma during pregnancy in cae of von Hippel-Lindau yndrome hould be realized and periodic neurologic and ophthalmologic obervation i warranted.
