Blurred viion during exual aroual aociated with narrow-angle glaucoma

PURPOE: To decribe three women with narrow-angle glaucoma who had tranient blurred viion during exual aroual. METHOD: Cae report. REULT: Three women, aged 37, 45, and 55 year, were een with bilateral narrow-angle glaucoma and were treated with bilateral laer iridotomy. In each patient, additional urgery wa required to control the glaucoma. After etablihing a rapport with her phyician, each patient decribed tranient blurred viion, from a few minute to everal hour in duration, which began during exual aroual. Thi ymptom reolved after peripheral iridotomy and, in one patient, after laer iridoplaty. CONCLUION: The aociation of tranient blurred viion with exual activity may delay preentation of patient with ymptomatic narrow-angle glaucoma.
