Conjunctival intraepithelial neoplaia preenting a corneal ulcer

PURPOE: To report a cae of conjunctival intraepithelial neoplaia preenting a corneal ulcer. METHOD: Cae report of a 28-year-old man who preented with udden onet of pain, redne, and watering in the right eye. Examination of right cornea revealed deep tromal infiltrate inferonaally. Adjacent to the infiltrate and traddling the inferonaal limbu, a reddih well-defined eible leion with prominent blood veel wa een. After corneal craping for microbiological evaluation, the patient wa treated with frequent intillation of ciprofloxacin hydrochloride 0.3% eyedrop. REULT: Corneal craping revealed no microorganim. Infiltrate reolved promptly after exciion of the leion. Hitopathologic evaluation of the excied leion revealed conjunctival intraepithelial neoplaia. CONCLUION: Thi cae highlight the fact that conjunctival intraepithelial neoplaia at the limbu may preent a corneal ulcer. Thi ulcer could have occurred econdary to a dellen formation and epithelial breakdown predipoing to a corneal ulcer
