Multiple retinal arteriolar occluion aociated with coexiting primary antiphopholipid yndrome and factor V Leiden mutation

PURPOE: To invetigate a cae of a young woman with both primary antiphopholipid yndrome and factor V Leiden mutation who developed multiple retinal arteriolar occluion. METHOD: Cae report of a 25-year-old woman with hitory and laboratory tet confirming the diagnoi of both primary antiphopholipid yndrome and factor V Leiden mutation who preented with blurred viion in both eye. REULT: Multiple retinal arteriolar occluion were oberved in both of her eye. The patient wa treated firt with heparin and then with warfarin. CONCLUION: Primary antiphopholipid yndrome and factor V Leiden mutation, a well a other form of thrombophilia, hould be conidered in the differential diagnoi of unexplained retinal vacular occluion. The coexitence of everal thrombophilic diorder may carry a particularly high rik for thrombotic manifetation.
