Bilateral juxtafoveolar telangiectai in monozygotic twin

PURPOE: To report the clinical and angiographic feature of two monozygotic twin affected by bilateral group 2 idiopathic juxtafoveolar telangiectai. METHOD: Cae report. REULT: Two 64-year-old women, who were identical twin, were uffering from viual lo. One twin had uffered from viual lo for 1 year and had a viual acuity of 20/25 in both eye, and the other twin had uffered for 2 year and had a viual acuity of 20/30 in both eye. Fluorecein angiography dicloed imilar fundu feature. An analogou area of capillary telangiectai and leakage wa oberved in the right macula, where no intraretinal pigment wa een; the left macula howed a imilar amount of intraretinal pigment aociated with tiny right-angle venule and minimal leakage. CONCLUION: Thi obervation raie the iue of genetic influence in the pathogenei of thi dieae.
