Poterior ubcapular cataract in Dego dieae

PURPOE: To report an aociation of poterior ubcapular cataract with Dego dieae. METHOD: Cae report of a 42-year-old man. REULT: A poterior ubcapular cataract developed in the patient’ left eye at age 43 year, 1 year before hi death. The diagnoi of Dego dieae wa confirmed pathologically by kin biopy and at necropy. CONCLUION: Poterior ubcapular cataract may be aociated with Dego dieae in addition to previouly reported finding, including viual field defect, third cranial nerve palie, blepharoptoi, and optic atrophy.
