Abstract :
%PURPOE: To report the ue of ultraound biomicrocopy in the detection of caterpillar hair in the par plana in a patient with unilateral par planiti.
METHOD: Ultraound biomicrocopic imaging of the anterior egment of the eye.
REULT: Ultraound biomicrocopy located a hair in the poterior chamber at the firt viit and five more in the par plana 1 month later. Thi finding wa confirmed intraoperatively.
CONCLUION: Ultraound biomicrocopy i ueful in the diagnoi and management of unilateral par planiti of uncertain caue.
