Bilateral papilledema from a maive intracranial epidermoid cyt

PURPOE: To report an unuual cae of bilateral papilledema from a large intracranial epidermoid cyt. METHOD: Cae report. REULT: A 26-year-old man preented with viual lo, bilateral papilledema, and only a few neurological ymptom. Magnetic reonance imaging dicloed uch a large leion that hi right cerebral hemiphere wa compreed to one half it normal ize. Hitopathologic examination of the completely removed tumor revealed an epidermoid cyt. CONCLUION: Thi unique cae involved a patient with bilateral papilledema caued by a huge intracranial epidermoid cyt. Epidermoid tumor hould be conidered in the differential diagnoi of papilledema.
