Bilateral choroidal metatae econdary to uterocervical carcinoma of the quamou cell type

PURPOE: To report a patient with bilateral choroidal metatae econdary to uterocervical carcinoma of the quamou cell type. METHOD: Cae report. REULT: A 55-year-old woman complained of viual field lo and decreaing viion. even month earlier, uterocervical carcinoma of the quamou cell type wa diagnoed and treated with chemotherapy and irradiation. erou retinal detachment and choroidal mae were preent in both eye. Retinal detachment wa leened in both eye after radiotherapy. The patient died of repiratory inufficiency 3 month after the appearance of choroidal metatae. At autopy, there wa no econd cancer to caue the choroidal metatae. Tumor embolization wa preent in the choriocapillarie. CONCLUION: Choroidal metatai may develop from hematogenou pread of uterocervical quamou cell carcinoma.
