ucceful gonioynechialyi for angle-cloure glaucoma after vitreoretinal urgery

PURPOE: To decribe 2 cae of long-term ucceful clinical outcome after gonioynechialyi for econdary angle-cloure glaucoma after vitreoretinal urgery. METHOD: Cae report. Gonioynechialyi wa performed bilaterally in 1 patient and unilaterally in another for uncontrolled angle-cloure glaucoma after vitreoretinal urgery. REULT: Angle reopening wa performed 2 to 4 month after initial cloure. After follow-up of between 3 and 5 year, intraocular preure ha remained below 21 mm Hg without medication in all three eye. CONCLUION: Gonioynechialyi hould be conidered a viable therapeutic alternative to filtration urgery in elected patient with a recent hitory of angle-cloure glaucoma after vitreoretinal urgery.
