Optical coherence tomography of melanocytoma

PURPOE: To evaluate the ue of optical coherence tomography in differentiating between melanocytoma and choroidal melanoma. METHOD: Cae report. Three conecutive patient with melanocytoma were canned uing optical coherence tomography. REULT: Optical coherence tomography howed leion with a high reflectance ignal anteriorly and optical hadowing behind, correponding to the melanocytoma. The high ignal wa continuou with the retinal nerve fiber layer, conitent with known growth pattern of melanocytoma. CONCLUION: Optical coherence tomography may be ueful in differentiating melanocytoma from choroidal melanocytic leion
