PURPOE: To decribe a patient with table idiopathic intracranial hypertenion whoe papilledema worened. METHOD: Cae report. REULT: A patient with documented idiopathic intracranial hypertenion had reolution of dic edema with weight lo. Recurrence of papilledema led to the dicovery that he conumed large quantitie of raw carrot to help maintain her weight. Her increaed vitamin A level normalized, and the dic edema reolved when he topped eating carrot. CONCLUION: Patient with idiopathic intracranial hypertenion hould be couneled regarding carrot intake
