Abstract
PURPOE: To report a cae of a olitary, nonreactive choroidal tuberculoma in a patient with acquired immune deficiency yndrome (AID).
METHOD: Cae Report.
REULT: A 26-year-old male patient with AID and ytemic tuberculoi wa found to have a olitary 1.5-dic-diameter elevated ma jut uperior and temporal to the optic dic. There wa no aociated inflammation, exudate, hemorrhage, or erou retinal detachment. Fluorecein angiography howed late hyperfluorecence in a taining pattern. The ma quickly regreed with antituberculoi therapy.
CONCLUION: Choroidal tuberculoma can preent with little aociated inflammation or retinal change in a patient with AID. The clinical hitory and knowledge of opportunitic choroidal infection in patient with AID help to make the diagnoi.
