Curvularia lunata endophthalmiti with econdary keratiti

PURPOE: To report a cae of peudophakic endophthalmiti with econdary keratiti caued by Curvularia lunata. METHOD: A 40-year-old man preented with a fluffy ma in the anterior chamber with low-grade delayed potoperative inflammation in the right eye. REULT: The anterior chamber and vitreou apirate demontrated C. lunata. A large corneal infiltrate developed after apiration of the ma. Treatment with ytemic, topical, and intraocular antifungal agent cleared the vitreou, but the cornea perforated. CONCLUION: Delayed low-grade infection with a fluffy ma in the anterior chamber after cataract urgery can rarely be a clinical preentation of dematiaceou fungal infection. econdary keratiti may reult after a diagnotic apiration.
