Ocular depoition of copper aociated with multiple myeloma

PURPOE: To report a cae of hypercupremia with depoit in both eye on the Decemet’ membrane, urface of the iri, and len capule aociated with multiple myeloma. METHOD: Cae report. REULT: A 64-year-old white woman had metallic depoit in both eye on the central Decemet’ membrane, urface of the iri, and the anterior and poterior len capule. A ytemic examination revealed an elevated erum copper, normal erum ceruloplamin, and an increaed level of total protein and IgG kappa gammaglobulin. Baed on thee reult, he wa diagnoed with multiple myeloma. CONCLUION: Copper depoit on the Decemet’ membrane, urface of the iri, and len capule may be the firt ign of multiple myeloma.
