Bilateral breat metatae from choroidal melanoma

PURPOE: To report an unuual cae of olitary equential bilateral breat metatae from choroidal melanoma. METHOD: Cae report. REULT: A 48-year-old woman with a large choroidal melanoma in the left eye wa treated with Iodine-125 brachytherapy and reponded atifactorily with decreae in tumor thickne. Thirty-even month after treatment, he developed a olitary, circumcribed melanoma metatai to the right breat, and 54 month after treatment, a imilar metatai wa detected in her left breat. Both breat tumor were managed with lumpectomy. ytemic examination including magnetic reonance imaging of abdomen, chet, and head have been performed regularly and have been normal. At 61 month after treatment, the patient ha no clinical evidence of metatatic dieae elewhere. CONCLUION: Uveal melanoma rarely metataize to breat tiue. A breat nodule in a patient with a hitory of uveal melanoma i mot likely a primary breat tumor but may rarely repreent a metatai from uveal melanoma.
