Demontration of retroiridal extenion of an epithelial membrane by ultraound biomicrocopy: a clinicopathologic correlation

Purpoe: To report the utilization of ultraound biomicrocopy (UBM) in identifying the extenion into the poterior egment of an epithelial membrane, a correlated by the hitopathologic finding. Method: Cae report. UBM finding before enucleation with hitopathologic correlation. REULT: UBM demontrated a membrane tracking from the poterior iri urface over the ciliary body and toward the retina. Light microcopic examination dicloed the epithelial nature of thi membrane. Concluion: UBM can identify extenion of an epithelial membrane into the poterior egment and thereby guide the approach to urgical management
