Bilateral abducen nerve parei aociated with anti-GQ1b IgG antibody

PURPOE: To decribe two cae with bilateral abducen nerve parei aociated with erum anti-GQ1b IgG antibody. METHOD: Cae report. REULT: Two boy, aged 12 and 10 year, experienced acute onet of diplopia after preceding ymptom and ign of infection. In both boy, examination howed only bilateral abducen nerve parei. Although routine laboratory data and magnetic reonance imaging demontrated no pathologic finding, titer of anti-GQ1b IgG antibody in the era of both patient wa increaed. Diplopia and ign of bilateral abducen nerve parei diappeared in 6 week without any pecific treatment. CONCLUION: The anti-GQ1b IgG antibody in the era of both patient probably contributed to the bilateral abducen nerve parei.
