Abstract
PURPOE: To report a cae of delayed rectu mucle hemorrhage after trabimu urgery.
METHOD: Cae report.
REULT: Rectu mucle hemorrhage occurred 36 hour after trabimu urgery in a 26-year-old man, cauing temporary lo of viion and reduced ocular motility. Urgent lateral cantholyi and orbital exploration to retore hemotai were undertaken. Full recovery of viion occurred and a mall reidual motility diturbance wa preent 3 month potoperatively.
CONCLUION: Delayed rectu mucle hemorrhage pottrabimu urgery i rare but can have ight-threatening effect. When viion i threatened becaue of optic nerve compromie, urgent orbital exploration may allow full recovery of function.
