Abstract
PURPOE: To report the optical coherence tomographic characteritic of peritent bleb-like ubretinal leion after retinal reattachment urgery, including cleral buckling and cryopexy.
METHOD: Cae report.
REULT: In two eye of two patient yellow to yellowih-orange bleb-like leion were found in the poterior pole after retinal reattachment urgery. The common apect of the urgery were cleral buckling procedure and cryopexy. There were ubretinal precipitate in ome of the leion. The leion howed no aociated leakage during fluorecein or indocyanine green angiography. Optical coherence tomography demontrated that the bleb-like leion were tiny retinal detachment.
CONCLUION: Optical coherence tomography examination of bleb-like ubretinal leion howed that they were actually retinal detachment. Our patient and previouly reported patient developed thee leion after cleral buckling and cryopexy. Thee leion may repreent peritent retinal detachment becaue of the preence of protein in the ubretinal fluid.
