PURPOE: To preent a dramatic cae of imultaneou bilateral central retinal vein occluion aociated with leukemia and anticardiolipin autoantibodie. METHOD: Interventional cae report. Clinical examination, fluorecein angiography, B-mode ultraonography, and laboratory erologie were performed on a 65-year-old man with chronic myelogenou leukemia who preented with udden onet of decreaed viion in hi right eye. REULT: Fundu examination dicloed a nonichemic central retinal vein occluion. Over the next 3 week, a nonperfued central retinal vein occluion developed in both eye and ubequent neovacular glaucoma developed in hi left eye. Throughout thi time, hi white blood cell and platelet count remained normal and hi erum vicoity remained low, but anticardiolipin antibodie were increaed. CONCLUION: Thi cae reveal the occurrence of imultaneou bilateral central retinal vein occluion aociated with anticardiolipin antibodie in leukemia and ugget an additional mechanim other than hypervicoity for bilateral central retinal vein occluion in leukemic patient
