Bilateral panuveiti: a poible aociation with Kikuchi-Fujimoto dieae

PURPOE: To report a cae of necrotizing lymphadeniti caued by Kikuchi-Fujimoto dieae, which developed bilateral panuveiti. METHOD: A 16-year-old Chinee female with hitologically proven Kikuchi-Fujimoto dieae developed bilateral panuveiti 2 year after the onet of lymphadenopathy. REULT: Bilateral panuveiti wa uccefully treated with topical teroid. erologic invetigation were poitive for Eptein-Barr viru antibodie and antinuclear antibodie, but no evidence of ytemic dieae or other caue of ocular inflammation wa found. CONCLUION: Kikuchi-Fujimoto dieae may be aociated with intraocular inflammation.
