Macular fold after limited macular tranlocation treated with cleral hortening releae and intravitreal ga

PURPOE: To decribe a cae developing a macular fold a a complication of limited macular tranlocation, which wa uccefully managed without repeat vitrectomy. METHOD: Interventional cae report. A 34-year-old woman who underwent limited macular tranlocation for ubfoveal choroidal neovacularization econdary to myopic degeneration developed a potoperative macular fold. Her viual acuity deteriorated from 20/100 to 20/200 potoperatively. REULT: he underwent cleral hortening releae and intravitreal ga injection 4 day after the initial urgery and had a reolution of macular fold with adequate foveal diplacement. Her viual acuity had improved to 20/40 3 month potoperatively. CONCLUION: cleral hortening releae and intravitreal ga injection may be conidered for the management of evere macular fold caued by limited macular tranlocation.
