Late choroidal metatai econdary to papillary thyroid carcinoma

PURPOE: To report a cae of late choroidal metatai from papillary thyroid carcinoma. METHOD: Interventional cae report. A 43-year-old woman who had been treated for papillary thyroid carcinoma 30 year earlier preented for evaluation of viion lo in the left eye. Eight week before thi preentation, an ophthalmologit had diagnoed a metatatic uveal ma in the left eye of the patient. The clinical record wa retropectively reviewed. Ocular onography wa performed to confirm the diagnoi of choroidal metatai. REULT: The choroidal ma had the typical characteritic of a metatatic leion. The patient wa treated with a combination of brachytherapy and chemotherapy. CONCLUION: Papillary thyroid carcinoma can metataize to the choroid many year after the initial diagnoi
