Choroidal detachment after the ue of topical latanoprot

PURPOE: To report a cae of delayed choroidal detachment after treatment with topical latanoprot. METHOD: Interventional cae report. Five year after trabeculectomy in a 91-year-old female, a Holmium laer thermal clerotomy wa performed, and a year later, the patient wa tarted on latanoprot .005% every 24 hour and hydrochloride dorzolamide 2% three time daily. REULT: Choroidal detachment developed 2.5 year after the clerotomy; they reolved after dicontinuation of the latanoprot and hydrochloride dorzolamide. ubequently, the patient inadvertently retarted latanoprot. Again, the latanoprot wa topped, with reolution of the choroidal detachment. CONCLUION: Topical latanoprot may lead to choroidal detachment and hypotony.
