Abstract
PURPOE: To report an inter-eye difference of the ocular pule amplitude (OPA) in a cae of innominate teal yndrome, a meaured by recording applanation tonometry.
METHOD: OPA wa meaured in a 49-year-old male before and after percutaneou tranluminal angioplaty of the innominate artery.
REULT: Before dilation of the tenotic innominate artery, OPA wa 2.00 (± 0.49) mm Hg in the right and 3.46 (± 0.53) mm Hg in the left eye. After dilation, OPA wa 3.26 (± 0.51) mm Hg in the right eye and 3.25 (± 0.99) mm Hg in the left eye.
CONCLUION: Recording applanation tonometry may be ueful for identifying occluive dieae of extracranial veel in an office etting
