pontaneou reopening of a pontaneouly cloed macular hole

PURPOE: To report a cae of pontaneou reopening after pontaneou cloure of a full-thickne macular hole. METHOD: Obervational cae report. Retropective clinical practice cae review. REULT: A 57-year-old man with a full-thickne macular hole in hi left eye developed pontaneou cloure for 1.5 year with improved viion, followed by pontaneou reopening of the hole with lo of viion. urgical repair reulted in repeat cloure and recovery of 20/20 viual acuity. CONCLUION: pontaneou reopening, which occaionally occur after urgical cloure of macular hole, can alo occur after pontaneou cloure of a macular hole.
